Sigh-A-Nar-A!

After 17 wonderful years, Jordie and Sonya have decided not to reopen Jordie’s Trail Side Café this spring.

​

Jordie has been enjoying some well-deserved time off and is ready to begin her next adventure — retirement! Sonya has started a new job driving residents for Cura of MN care facilities and is really enjoying it.

​

Working together as three generations — grandma, mother, and daughter/granddaughter — has been an incredible journey. Some days were tough, but every day we were blessed. Together we created great food, homemade soups and desserts, and a place that felt like visiting Granny’s house.

​

Running the café with just one of us was never the plan. When one was done, so was the other. We needed each other like PB & J to make Jordie’s, Jordie’s!

​

Thank you to everyone who supported us over the last 17 years. You made Jordie’s Trail Side Café a truly special place.
